Expect More Artists at EarthDay Jam 2014 Concert

Expect more artist collaborations to fire up this year's EarthDay Jam 2014 Concert, which is dubbed as the biggest and celebrity studded environmental summer street party event in the Philippines.

On its 14th year, the EarthDay Jam 2014 Concert street party, which includes this recyclables fair where people
 can donate their old gadgets within the 9th avenue corner 34th street venue at the 
Bonifacio Global City (BGC), will feature more celebrity bands, 
singers and rappers performing their hit songs for a rolling night of live music, campaigning for the 
 preservation of Mother Earth and its resources.
"The EarthDay Jam 2014 has never been this aggressive with its national campaign,
 for Mother Earth's protection, survival. It is a relentless campaign supported by 
concerned government and private sector agencies that aims not only to educate
 people about the state of health of planet earth, but get everyone to do their fair share
 in the global fight to save this planet for our children's future, the next generation," 
said EarthDay Jam Concert founding organizer Ms. Lou Bonnevie.

EarthDay Jam 2014 raised its national campaign, tapping more sectors to take part in
 concert's overall national environmental campaign activities. "We have to bring more
 people to support this really worthy cause, and we want it to be done consistent with 
EarthDay Jam 2014's long term pro-environmennt objectives".

Music artists would take advantage of the EarthDay Jam gig, which Bonnevie adviced will
 begin early at 6pm, to showcase more brands, more music to the youth.
 "EarthDay Jam is a non-profit event. It is free, but gig is open to artists willing to share their 
time and music for one worthy environmental cause."

This year's band line up  includes famed rappers Abra and Gloc 9 ;  
blues band Brat Pack; foremost reggae group Brownman Revival; 
rock band icons Slapshock ,Chicosi ,Sandwich, Kjwan and Mayonnaise ; pop rock artists  Itchy Worms,
 Moonstar 88 ; folk guru Noel Cabangon ; representatives
 from PI JazzFest; and eco rock artist Ms. Lou Bonnevie.
There will be surprise appearances from other celebrity performers. 

"The (EarthDay Jam) campaign is a work in progress because people need to know hard
 that Global warming is a serious problem. It is fast depleting the planet's natural resources,
 and it is only a matter of time before it start to affect all of us," said Bonnevie.

The EarthDay Jam 2014 Concert, which is a branching tribute to the worldwide
 earth day movement celebration, will happen on April 25, 2014, 6pm, at 9th avenue cor 34th st.,
 Bonifactio Global City (BGC). It is a special project of Earthday Jam Foundation in association
 with Bonifacio Global City , DENR and city of Taguig in cooperation with First Gen, 
Smart Communications, Pagcor, GSIS,SWAPP, Foundation 
For The Philippine Environment ,NSWMC , Gerry’s Grill and Dickies.
